Beneath the surface, the Longbow range harnesses great power and delivers remarkable levels of control. Designed and built in Daiwa UK, we have applied the latest design and material technology.
Combining torque-busting X45 tech, High Volume Fibre, and our proven Magnum Taper, the Longbow delivers superior distance, unerring accuracy, and highly versatile fish-playing performance. Thanks to the MT profile, we have pushed the design limits of the test curve, introducing a groundbreaking 4.0lb model. This test curve, traditionally found on marker or spod rods, offers outstanding casting power balanced with a responsive and forgiving tip action, ensuring even tentative hook holds are not penalised.
The ‘near skeletal’ TDG guides make the rod lightweight and super responsive. These guides feature a special ADAMAN™ coating. A Seaguide reel seat and Japanese shrink grip compose a simple but understated handle assembly.

- X45 Bias Carbon Technology: Layering the carbon sheet at opposing 45? angles, combined with 0? and 90? layers, optimizes torque resistance and power delivery, enhancing both distance and accuracy.
- Magnum Taper Blank Profile: Designed by our engineers in the UK and Japan, this iconic mandrel profile balances a responsive tip action for playing fish with the perfect middle and lower rod sections for casting.
- HVF (High Volume Fibre): Developed to reduce weight and increase strength and stiffness, this material reduces resin content and increases carbon performance.
- V-Joint Alpha Technology: Eliminates potential flat spots at the joint section, providing a perfect playing action and increasing casting distance.
- Seaguide TDG Guides: Lighter than traditional ceramic guides, these have a larger internal diameter, allowing line to travel faster when casting. The guides also offer greater sensitivity and have an ADAMAN™ coating for enhanced performance.
- Japanese Shrink Grip: Hard-wearing shrink material provides the best finish and feel for a handle on a carp rod.

Delivery & Handling Details
Postage and Packaging Charges are for within mainland UK and will normally be within 1 to 3 working days from time of order, where delivery cannot be made within the target time, you will be contacted and made aware of any delays. All deliveries must be signed for on receipt, when no signature is obtainable the courier will return the goods to the depot nearest to yourself, and a further attempts will be made to deliver the goods on the following days, if there is still no person to receive the goods they will be taken back to the nearest depot and retain for approximately one week. The order can be collected from the depot with proof of attempted delivery, or utility bill and photo ID. If the goods are to be delivered again then a charge may be made by the courier collected by us, this charge is only incurred when the customer requests a further delivery, to avoid this charges just contact the local depot and call in person to collect the parcel.

If you cannot see your country in the list above, we can still ship your order but provide shipping cost as per each order. Please contact us with your order and we will email you back with a quote for your entire order including shipping.
Returns Policy
Returning goods should always be arranged by contacting us first. Please do not return goods with out first contacting ourselves.
Returning goods which have been damaged on delivery must contact us within 7 days of reciept of the order. These will be collected by our couriers and replacement sent through.
Returning faulty goods, contact ourselves with the details of the product which is faulty and details of the fault. We will contact you in return with the correct procedure and manufacturer warranty details of that product. Goods will be replaced subject to a manfacturer inspection and finding of a manufacturing flaw.
Returning non faulty goods may be done so within 30 days of reciept of the order. Goods must be in new condition and in original packaging in order to obtain a full refund. Return of non faulty goods is done at customers own cost.
