The ability to quick change QC any rig is a massive time saver and we ve been doing it with standard rigs for years. However, due the short length of stiff material used to construct a Chod Rig, until the krimps came along it was always a very fiddly and frustrating knot to tie particularly on very short chods. Krimping our Mouth Trap Chod Filament has become an increasingly popular way to create a QC Chod by utilising our standard 0.6mm krimps normally associated with our popular Boom material when creating Spinner Rigs.
The size of these standard krimps was not ideal but served a purpose until now. The Korda Product Development Team have now created a krimp specifically for constructing neat and tidy Chod Rigs with ease. The new krimps are 40 smaller than the standard version and can be used with 15lb, 20lb and 25lb versions of our Mouth Trap Chod Filament which creates a QC loop stronger than any knot this is particularly vital with such a short hooklink, where the pressure at the knot is at its greatest.
These tiny krimps can be used with the current Krimp Tools in the range and come in two sizes 0.5mm and 0.6mm
Crimping is a great way to achieve neat, strong connections, especially when you are using stiffer and-or thicker materials which can be hard to knot effectively plus it allows you to get the hook link length right every time, which is especially useful for Chod Rigs.
You need to ensure that you use the correct size of krimp for your Mouth Trap if the krimp is too big it can slip. We advise that the XS 0.5mm is used with 15lb and 20lb Mouth Trap, with the Small 0.6mm version used with the heavier 25lb filament.
They come supplied in a neat little box with a sliding lid, which helps prevent spillages, with 50 Krimps in each pack.

Delivery & Handling Details
Postage and Packaging Charges are for within mainland UK and will normally be within 1 to 3 working days from time of order, where delivery cannot be made within the target time, you will be contacted and made aware of any delays. All deliveries must be signed for on receipt, when no signature is obtainable the courier will return the goods to the depot nearest to yourself, and a further attempts will be made to deliver the goods on the following days, if there is still no person to receive the goods they will be taken back to the nearest depot and retain for approximately one week. The order can be collected from the depot with proof of attempted delivery, or utility bill and photo ID. If the goods are to be delivered again then a charge may be made by the courier collected by us, this charge is only incurred when the customer requests a further delivery, to avoid this charges just contact the local depot and call in person to collect the parcel.

Please note, delivery charge may vary for items over 1.5m in length or 10kg, for confirmation of delivery please email us first. If you cannot see your country in the list above, we can still ship your order but provide shipping cost as per each order. Please contact us with your order and we will email you back with a quote for your entire order including shipping.
Returns Policy
Returning goods should always be arranged by contacting us first. Please do not return goods with out first contacting ourselves.
Returning goods which have been damaged on delivery must contact us within 7 days of reciept of the order. These will be collected by our couriers and replacement sent through.
Returning faulty goods, contact ourselves with the details of the product which is faulty and details of the fault. We will contact you in return with the correct procedure and manufacturer warranty details of that product. Goods will be replaced subject to a manfacturer inspection and finding of a manufacturing flaw.
Returning non faulty goods may be done so within 30 days of reciept of the order. Goods must be in new condition and in original packaging in order to obtain a full refund. Return of non faulty goods is done at customers own cost.
