Kaizen Rod Range
The Kaizen Rod range has been under development for more than four years, driven by the goal to create high-end rods that surpass those currently on the market. Manufactured in the UK using super high tensile, high-grade Japanese carbon, these rods feature 50mm butt guides with 18mm tip rings, aluminium trim rings with a JAG etched stainless butt cap, and are fitted with a Fuji DPS reel seat. Built with Seaguide TDG lightweight stainless steel guides, the rods also boast a Japanese shrink grip handle with a flared butt, a fast-tapered profile blank for higher compression strength, and a low glare matt paint finish.
All our high-end Kaizen Platinum rods are built on a fast-tapered profile mandrel, ensuring the taper of the rod consistently extends from the butt to the tip. This design produces rods with a very tippy action, with most of the flex being towards the tip end. Under extreme pressure, such as casting, the rod will still bend all the way through.
The carbon used in the Kaizen range is crucial to its performance. We selected the best super tensile, high-grade Japanese carbon available—ZERO90 carbon—which is used in just two layers with minimal resin content, resulting in lighter, stiffer blanks.
To complement the lightweight blanks, all Kaizen rods are fitted with lightweight Sea-Guide TDG rings, featuring a 50mm butt and 16mm tip. This design allows the line to flow smoothly from a big pit spool with minimal resistance and ensures leader knots pass smoothly through the tip ring. The reel is secured with a superior quality Fuji DPS seat, and the handle is finished with Japanese shrink grip for a firm hold, even when wet. The rods are completed with aluminium trim and an etched butt cap by JAG, giving them an extremely desirable custom look.
Danny Fairbrass, a key figure in rod design and one of the driving forces behind the Kaizen range, expressed his enthusiasm: "They are an absolute joy to use, so lightweight but powerful, with really light rings that move through the air easily and cast perfectly straight. They also look absolutely gorgeous."

Delivery & Handling Details
Postage and Packaging Charges are for within mainland UK and will normally be within 1 to 3 working days from time of order, where delivery cannot be made within the target time, you will be contacted and made aware of any delays. All deliveries must be signed for on receipt, when no signature is obtainable the courier will return the goods to the depot nearest to yourself, and a further attempts will be made to deliver the goods on the following days, if there is still no person to receive the goods they will be taken back to the nearest depot and retain for approximately one week. The order can be collected from the depot with proof of attempted delivery, or utility bill and photo ID. If the goods are to be delivered again then a charge may be made by the courier collected by us, this charge is only incurred when the customer requests a further delivery, to avoid this charges just contact the local depot and call in person to collect the parcel.

Please note, delivery charge may vary for items over 1.5m in length or 10kg, for confirmation of delivery please email us first. If you cannot see your country in the list above, we can still ship your order but provide shipping cost as per each order. Please contact us with your order and we will email you back with a quote for your entire order including shipping.
Returns Policy
Returning goods should always be arranged by contacting us first. Please do not return goods with out first contacting ourselves.
Returning goods which have been damaged on delivery must contact us within 7 days of reciept of the order. These will be collected by our couriers and replacement sent through.
Returning faulty goods, contact ourselves with the details of the product which is faulty and details of the fault. We will contact you in return with the correct procedure and manufacturer warranty details of that product. Goods will be replaced subject to a manfacturer inspection and finding of a manufacturing flaw.
Returning non faulty goods may be done so within 30 days of reciept of the order. Goods must be in new condition and in original packaging in order to obtain a full refund. Return of non faulty goods is done at customers own cost.
